Juan Barreno
PhD Student
Juan Barreno was born in Tungurahua, Ecuador, in 1994. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, Ecuador, in 2018. He later completed a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal, in 2024. He is currently a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution. His main research interests include fault diagnosis in electromechanical systems and computational simulation applied to these systems.
